Dear Right Angle Member:

All of the June speakers will present on Fridays at lunch. There will be no evening speakers in June.

As most of you know, our own members often volunteer to speak during the summer months. Ted Burkett led off in May with a superb talk and pictures of Mexico.

If anyone would like to volunteer to present, I am sure that David Richards feenix1938@verizon.net would be pleased to hear from you.

01      Bob Jackson (our very own)

Bob will speak on “The third largest club in America.”  What is its name? Come and find out!

08    Elizabeth Beatty, Executive Director Fort Mifflin

“The Fort that saved America.” In 1777 – together with Fort Mercer, these forts held off the British, giving Gen. Washington time to evacuate to Valley Forge.

 15      Bill Hasslepen,  partner, Eagan-Jones Ratings Company

“Corruption of the process”    Political manipulation of our banking and regulatory Ratings Company  system and the resulting havoc. Ratings are not paid for by the company being rated. Includes sovereign debt issues.

 22      Thom Nickels,  author, critic, poet

 Frequent contributor to The Philadelphia Inquirer and ICON Magazine, Nickels has written “Meeting  Mother Divine” and other books. He will speak on the Peace Mission Movement

29      John Wagner, M.D.   (our very own)   Director of the Transplant Center of Jefferson Hospital

 Overview and advances in Blood Stem Cell  transplantation used in the treatment of many cancers.
