The doldrums of summer are upon us. Most things start to move just a little slower, including yours truly. I must apologize for my delay in getting our July notice out. We of course did not meet on July 1st in honor of the independence of our nation from the mother country of England. June saw the English celebrating their independence vote from the European Union. Like, or dislike, it, one of the things we can agree on is the times they are changing.
While we all maybe slowing down during the summer heat our speaker chair John Coates has been heating up, with a great lineup of speakers for us this month. Our own Tom Howes brings us his nephew, who has spoken to us before getting rave reviews!
As an important reminder on Friday July 8th we will be voting on changes to our by laws and constitution, you can view the changes in the documents attached to this email. The speaker on July 8th looks to be of particular interest given the events occurring in our world right now so please come out to take part in the vote, and to enjoy the speaker.
I’m looking forward to seeing all of you in July at Right Angle!
Please send any club member news, or other announcements, to rightangle1922@gmail.com and it will be included in the monthly newsletter.
